Bethesda Softworks will release the second and free update for the game called "Dishonored" 2. It was announced by the developer via blog post with the confirmed release date this month.
"Dishonored" 2 is about to have its custom difficulty, where players will be able to choose their settings via advanced options. Players will be utilizing the options for a maximum stealth skill for the game as it would provide them the game difficulty they prefer.
According to the Polygon, the option is presented by sliders, similar to other games that provides specific details and aspects of the game. Players would have the ability to mess around with the settings and can be tweaked in the middle of the game to increase the effectiveness of the settings.
There is also the new "Dishonored" 2 Iron Mode, a game mode that prevents auto-save and load. The Iron Mode also has a special feature, it contains the PermaDeath, in which the player will be penalized with a permanent death once died and will need to start again from the beginning. It has been said that Bethesda stated that players should be responsible for every decision that will make during the playthrough.
Additionally, the GameSpot confirmed that Bethesda Softworks finally adds the feature that can allow the players to choose their mission of choice in "Dishonored" 2. Players will then have the ability to restart a certain mission with a specific save point. This feature was demanded by several fans last year and Harvey Smith of the Arkane Studio fulfilled his promise to add such feature.
The feature was first seen in the first "Dishonored" title, the reason why fans asked the developers to add it up. Bethesda Softworks proves how they care a lot to the game as they respond quickly to any suggestions from their fans.
"Dishonored" 2 update 2 will be distributed via steam and it's for free. It will be initially released via beta form starting January 18th, while the final version will be launched on the 23rd of the same month. The free update will be available on the PlayStation 4, XBox One and Windows PC platform.
