Marvel Comics is about to release a special comic book focusing on the life of one of Star Wars' most intriguing character, Darth Maul. The official launch of this project is on Feb. 1.
In an article published by Movie Pilot, they said that fans of Star Wars have always been intrigued by Darth Maul's character and it is too bad that he got killed off right away in the story. It is a dream come true for loyal Star Wars followers to finally see more of the sith's Darth Maul with his cool double-bladed lightsaber and really intriguing look.
Marvel decided to release a teaser that would make fans more excited even before its official launch and so far, the responses are good. Written by Cullen Bunn, the same guy who wrote Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, Darth Maul's story is expected to be action filled with a touch of comedy.
Luke Ross will be behind the artwork for this project, as he has already worked with other Stars Wars comic book stories like The Force Awakens Adaptation. Based on all these facts, industry experts have concluded that this project is going to work out just fine.
According to Comic Book, this edition will dwell on the story of Darth Maul being the apprentice of Darth Sidious, who was at that time, Naboo's senator. Darth Sidious also became Emperor Palpatine, the one who ruled the Galactic Empire.
Darth Maul has a very interesting character, to begin with, and he is known for his anger issues. His mentor tried to teach him to be patient and calm, but he didn't listen and went on with his own emotions and rage. He eventually became an entity who would hunt and murder a Jedi. This is just a glimpse of what fans could expect from the new comic book starring Darth Maul.
