A breed of a platformer game has just arrived as the "Rise and Shine" relive the classic and retro gaming. The game is about jumping, killing and puzzle solving where everyone is familiar with, but are not included together in one title.
"Rise and Shine" may not be game for everyone, but as the Gamer's Hell said, it is a gamer's game. The game is presented in a much colorful and appealing design, though it may seem to be outdated.
As a platformer, "Rise and Shine" offers a couple of mini-games such as solving the puzzle that everybody would definitely in enjoy. In much of the occasion, players are engaged in a killing battle, shooting and evading elements are combined for a much broader strategy.
"Rise and Shine" is a game developed by the same team worked on the Worms and Plants vs. Zombies. Super Mega Team took some inspiration from the games that they previously worked on.
With a details derived from hand drawn background, "Rise and Shine" sets a very familiar game design. The highly noticeable arts and textures seemed to be very familiar, but we can accept the fact that the game's graphics is appealing to the audiences.
As the WCCF Tech reviewed the "Rise and Shine" game, they said that the game doesn't have a thrilling story. The thing is that, though the game doesn't have an interesting story, the game may seem to invite their audiences with its humor and references that makes the game stand out among other games of its genre.
Aside from the features mentioned above, the game offers such mechanics of an open-world game, "Rise and Shine" let the players uncover some secret zones, treasure and different types of bullets.
In the said review, WCCF Tech said that the platforming elements only take a small part of the game. Pretty much to say that the game is focused on exploring and puzzle-solving.
"Rise and Shine" is an exclusive game for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One and was eventually released last January 13th, Friday. The game can be purchased via Steam for $11.99 only.
