Evernote iOS, developed exclusively for the iPhone, iPad and iPad Touch, is set to bring in a series of new search features for the Apple device,s along with making the whole process faster. For starters Evernote 8.0 gets rid of the home screen and simplifying the navigation for the end-user. This enables the user to directly see his or her most recent notes.
The list of notes will be easier to locate in this new version. Additionally, users will have the option to tap and get started instantly. They can address reminders with one tap and even pull up notes with specific tags.
To further accelerate the process, Evernote iOS comes with a green button in the middle. Long pressing this button will give users access to options like recording audio, clicking pictures of the notes, etc.
In addition to the new search features, Evernote 8.0 also includes various style support features that allow users to adjust the size of the text, selectively apply colours to the headers and sub-sections, etc. Adding tags to the notes will also help in simplifying search.
Even the business users should expect some changes, Slash Gear reported. One of these differences is a more prominent division between business and personal notes respectively. The account switching process has also been made simpler. The new tab also remembers previous enquiries and searches that have been saved.
