Just recently, Koei Tecmo has released yet another season pass for "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round," this time it involves more costumes that stand out from the rest of the previous costumes in the past: They're modest.
According to Dualshockers, Koei Tecmo released the set of DLC costumes titled "High Society" ("Young Ladies' Holiday" in the Japanese version) for "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round," which is "shockingly" quite covering and modest. The DLC costume set is currently available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
However, "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" has already been getting season passes and this sixth one is priced at $92.99 USD. That amounts to an additional $557.94 total in costumes, which is also in addition to the price of the game itself.
The new season pass offers two Pop Idol costumes as bonuses, those that fit Marie Rose and Honoka, and ncludes the "High Society" costume set. Actually, here's a list of the upcoming DLC sets this year (thanks to Dualshockers): High Society Costume Set (17 items)- Additional Costumes (February 2017 - 17 costumes)- Additional Costumes (March 2017 - 16 Costumes)- Additional Costumes (April 2017 - 17 Costumes)- Additional Costumes (May 2017 - 17 Costumes)- Additional Costumes (June 2017 - 17 costumes).
In other news, Siliconera reports that "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters," the free-to-play version of the actual "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" has surpassed 8 million worldwide downloads, according to Koei Tecmo.
The free-to-play fighter game may be "free" but the catch is that it allows players to play the "core" characters of the game, those being Ayane, Hayate, Kasumi, and Ryu Hayabusa. The rest of the characters from the "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" are purchasable. Despite that, players can still try out the game and its different modes for free.
As a commemoration for the milestone, Koei Tecmo will be giving away Mila for free until Feb. 7, 2017 on PlayStation 4 for PlayStation Plus subscribers, available in North America and Europe.
