Lee Joon Gi to appear as guest on the upcoming HSBC "Women's Champions" festival. The event is a professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour.
His label, Namoo Actors released an official statement saying that Lee Joon Gi has been invited by the Singapore Tourism Board to hold an event in Singapore. "The Singapore Tourism Board has received many requests from local fans who want to see the star. They have decided to invite Lee Joon Gi to be the main guest of the HSBC Women's Champions festival, which will be held on March 4," Soompi revealed.
The actor is currently on his "Thank You" Asia tour, beginning with two performance in Seoul. Lee then moved on to hold events in Osaka, Nagoya, and Yokohama in Japan.
In Taiwan, he and his "Scarlet Heart: Goryeo" co-star IU made guest appearances in each other's concerts. During IU's concert, the two star re-enacted the heartbreaking rain scene from their drama, , making the fans of their love team euphoric, Koreaboo reported.
Currently the 34-years old actor is busy with his tours. In line with that, reports surfaces that Lee is being invited to hold extra events in North America and Europe.
The actor will be taking the highlights of his Asia tour concert on his trip to Singapore. A representative of the Singapore Tourism Board stated, "We are very happy that Lee Joon Gi accepted our invitation."
He continued that Lee is extremely popular in Singapore and his appearance as the main guest for the upcoming event will be a great gift to Singapore. It is said that the actor is receiving many other offers for new projects, and is currently in the process of choosing his next production.
Currently, the actor is starring in the Hollywood film "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" with Hollywood star Mila Jovovich.
