With the "Games of Thrones" Season 7 just around the corner, the hit series producers still plans on how to end the show and how many episodes will they cover in Season 8.
According to Express, HBO programming president Casey Bloys confessed with Entertainment Weekly that they are still deciding on how to shape the last season. According to him, it depends on the producers of the show on how they are going to end the series, and that he will take as many as they want.
ComicBook also suggest that to complete the 73 episodes of the series which was previously declared by showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss to be the total number of episodes, the last season could be the shortest one with an estimated six episodes, since "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will have seven episodes.
In another spoiler, actress Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) dropped hints in her recent Facebook Live Interview that contents for the next season will be as much as the previous seasons, even if it has fewer episodes. She added that fans will not really get disappointed, which may mean that the episodes could run more than the usual 50-60 minute running time.
Williams is not the only one who dropped this hint as Iain Glen (Jon Mormont) also hinted in his interview with the Radio Times that with the 13 episodes remaining but 15 hours of content, it can be inferred that there will be around 69 minutes per episode.
Meanwhile, Richard Pleper said that the spinoff, which is more likely to be a prequel for the series, is also under works with Casey, confirming that they are not going to do it just for the sake of doing it. So fans can expect something equally superb, since the management is not planning to have it rushed.
No exact release date yet for the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is set, but it will be released around summer later this year.
