Jung Joon Young surprised his colleagues upon his return in "2 Days & 1 Night." The variety show airs every Sunday on KBS.
On Jan. 22, during the recent episode of "2 Days & 1 Night," members of the show participated in various games with a goal for the members to say Jung Joon Young's name. While playing, the 27-year old actor stayed hidden and is expected to show up when the members finally say his name.
However, the singer's day did not go as planned as the members did not mention his name much. He even climbed up and down Jirisan Mountain.
For him to be reunited with the members, Jung's name must be mentioned for at least 30 times. But, the members only mentioned his name for at least nine times throughout the day, Soompi reported.
Hence, Jung need to wait endlessly near the members' base camp. While waiting for their call, the singer stayed inside the bus while the members concentrated on their dinner game.
It seems like the members has no chance of winning the game, so the staff came up with a special plan. They created a game called "Say My Name," where the members get to touch Jung's face and guess his name.
Shortly, the game started and Cha Tae Hyun was first in line followed by Kim Joon Ho, Yoon Shi Yoon, Defconn, and lastly Kim Jong Min. After the game, the members had different answers.
Claiming that they touched Jung's hair, Cha and Yoon wrote down Jung's name. Yoon even said "I wish Jung Joon Young came out. I missed him so much," Naver TV reported.
In the end, the singer appeared in front of the members and they were very surprised. Jung then formally greeted the fans saying he really missed "2 Days & 1 Night" and will work hard to not let the audience down.
