Players who were biding their time to play "Halo 5" again should certainly fall back into the game immediately. The 343 Industries-developed game just introduced the Mythic Warzone Firefight on the March on Stormbreak map. In addition to that, "Halo 5" also launched the new Team Allegiance Req pack to celebrate the ongoing Halo Championship series.
What to expect from the new 'Halo 5'
One of the first "Halo 5" updates that players should keep an eye out for is the new ability to play the Mythic Warzone Firefight Zone on the winter-themed map, March of Stormbreak, according to Cinemablend. This combination is ideal for players as the March of Stormbreak is an ideal spot to shoot villains.
Apart from the Mythic Warzone Firefight Zone ability on the March of Stormbreak, "Halo 5" also brought the new Team Allegiance Req pack, which comes with black, white and orange weapon skins. Its theme revolves around the competitive gaming squad "Team Allegiance," according to Gamespot, and is part of Halo 343 Industries' celebrations for the championship series. However, this update does not come for free, as players would have to shelve $10 for the new req pack to be included in the customization options.
'Halo Wars 2' beta now happening
Another important 343 Industries update involve the "Halo Wars 2," whose Blitz mode multiplayer beta is currently live, according to PC Gamer. However, the long-teased beta would only be around until Jan. 30. The new "Halo Wars 2" beta would allow players to access the Blitz mode, which mixes real-time strategy with card game stuff, the same report stated.
How does it work? Players would be selecting from a random pack of cards. They would have to balance their attack and defense before going into battle with a human opponent. However, the demo is strictly pvp right now, although the developers of the game might develop an AI opponent for the full game, according to Polygon.
