Javits Convention Center February 13, 2006 in New York City. The annual show attracts toy makers and inventors displaying their latest designs and inventions. According to 2005 U.S. sales figures, total toy industry sales fell almost 4 percent.

The new "Batman Lego Movie" trailer was just released on Jan. 22 and fans couldn't be more excited for its official release date. This time, it featured a lot of Robin's character and his costumes.

This movie is a spinoff of the widely popular "The Lego Movie" that was released on Feb. 7, 2014. According to GameSpot, it was a hit, which is why producers of the film decided to continue with its concept only adding one of the most famous superheroes in the world - Batman.

However, the "Batman Lego Movie" won't focus on Batman this time because all eyes are going to be on his famous sidekick, Robin. It has been a while Robin made an appearance on the silver screen with Batman. Not a lot of stories or Batman films have even really talked about Robin.

Producers and creators of this movie wanted to make it different this time and let viewers see how Robin's significance in the life of Batman and how he got the gig of being his sidekick. Robin was dubbed as the "Boy Wonder" because of the skills that he has. It has also been quite of a humor that he was called because a lot of people just wonder where he came from.

That question will soon be answered by this upcoming Lego movie installment. Fans would be happy to know that this is going to be a star-studded project. Comic Book shared the cast list of this movie and it includes Michael Cera, who will be the voice of Robin and Rosario Dawson as Batgirl.

Other characters who will be in this movie are Alfred (Ralph Fiennes), The Joker (Zach Galifianakis), Two Face (Billy Dee Williams), and the Mayor of Gotham (Mariah Carey). It will be directed by Chris McKay under the production of Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

Mark the calendars for the official release date of the "Lego Batman Movie" on Feb. 10. 2017. Another sequel is also currently being done after this one, but won't be available until February 2019.
