Leslie Benzies, who is best known as the ex-president of a famous gaming company Rockstar North and also the lead developer for the hit game Grand Theft Auto franchise, just launched 5 new companies on his own. After being forced to leave Rockstar North, he didn't stop working and this time, to have new companies under his name.

According to WCCF Tech, Benzies is being charged with royalty lawsuits by his former company, Rockstar North, and Take-Two Interactive. Benzies' lawyers released a statement about his current situation with his former company and apparently, they had some issues about his royalty payments.

They said that he was asked to leave Rockstar North but with a $150 million worth of royalties. Benzies took a sabbatical after all that happened and while he was taking his time off from the crazy world of tech and corporate life, he was able to discover a lot of shady things that his former companies did to oust him.

According to his legal team, those companies not only wanted him out but they also ceased some of his royalty earnings based on their royalty Allocation Committee, which could be a faux committee. Dual Shockers wrote about this issue as well and said that North Rockstar called Benzies' claims bizarre.

All these issues are not stopping Benzies from getting back on his feet and ruling the world of tech and gaming. Just this week, his team announced that he now owns five companies namely, Royal Circus Games Limited, VR-Chitect Limited, Starship Group and Everywhere Game Limited. All his projects are focused on game development for PC and different gaming consoles including mobile gears.

This time, Benzies has been very careful in registering his business that he makes it a point that everything is trademarked such as "Everywhere, and" #TFANW, which stands for "Time for a New World." Even the hashtag itself is registered under one of his new companies, Royal Circus.
