Korean actor Jung Kyung Ho revealed the most important key to long-lasting relationship in the February edition of Allure magazine!

In the accompanying interview of Allure, Jung Kyung Ho talked about his relationship with long-time girlfriend Sooyoung. Reports stated the actor and Girls' Generation member will celebrate their 5th anniversary this year; hence, Jung Kyung Ho shared their secret in keeping the fire burning.

"If it weren't for love then the relationship wouldn't have been able to last so long," he said as per Allkpop.

Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung went public about their relationship in 2014. The Girls' Generation member has been cautious to answer questions about her partner, while the actor has been quite open on their relationship.

In fact, Jung Kyung Ho admitted he never listens to other artists when he started dating Sooyoung. Aside from that, the 33-year-old actor also said he plans to propose to his girlfriend if he will be awarded with the Best Actor Award, Soompi cited.

The actor currently stars as the main lead in "Missing 9," sharing the small screen with actress Baek Jin Hee. The newest MBC drama follows the story of nine individuals who went missing on an island.

"I talked a lot with the producer and the writer before filming. I told them that I will show acting that maintains the comical vibe even in the serious scenes," said Jung Kyung Ho, who will play as an unsuccessful celebrity in the drama.

"Missing 9" cast members also shared it was a big challenge for them to make the scenes realistic. The actors said it felt like they were stranded on the island for real, stating that they had to wear the same unwashed clothes for the accident and rescue scenes.

The cast members added they sometimes eat canned tuna with rice instead of heavy meals to make their acting even more convincing, specifically when they are asked to shout "I'm hungry."

Watch "Missing 9" every Wednesday and Thursday at 22:00 KST on MBC.
