"Persona 5" is up for release in the U.S. and the date was confirmed to be on April 4. Ahead of its launch date, Atlus unveiled a trailer that highlights the game's mechanics, palaces and more.
"Persona 5" is a Japanese RPG game developed by Atlus and due to its popularity, it is being released in America and Europe. The game is about a group of highschoolers who have special powers.
They used items such as masks to transform to their magical "personas." Once they have summoned their powers they turned into masked vigilantes called the "Phantom Thieves of Hearts."
"Persona 5" is seen to be more appealing to younger players since the lead characters are are also young people who are leading dual lives. One as regular youngsters and the other as fighters in the supernatural world when the night falls.
Now, fans would be thrilled in the newest game preview as the palaces in "Persona 5" have been highlighted. The focus was on the structure to show players the dungeon-like atmosphere in there and demonstrate how combats may transpire in the location.
Game developer Atlus shared that players may also avoid fights in the palaces. All they need is to negotiate. "You can hold up Shadows to negotiate with them to yield money, items and even a chance to avoid a battle entirely," Atlus stated in a press release (via Gamasutra).
It was added that it is also possible for the protagonist to convince the Shadows to join the Phantom Thieves so they can be of help with the Persona. Of course, there is also the option to simply demolish the Shadows even before talking to them to cut a deal.
Meanwhile, Siliconera noted that "Persona 5" has bee set to be released in the U.S. on April 4. The game is expected to be available for PlayStation 3 and PS4.
