Chinese actor and martial artist Jet Li, Indian actress and model Deepika Padukone and Thai actor and martial artist Tony Jaa are the three Asians in the main cast of the upcoming action thriller film "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage." Here are the actors confirmed to be their co-stars so far:
1. Vin Diesel
Known for playing Dominic Toretto in the "Fast & Furious" films, Diesel is of English, German and Scottish descent. He will reprise the title role in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," which he originally played in the 2002 film "xXx."
2. Samuel L. Jackson
Jackson son will reprise his role as Agent Augustus Gibbons from "xXx." The actor, who is partially of Gabonese descent, recently starred in Quentin Tarantino's "The Hateful Eight" and is also set to star in "The Hitman's Bodyguard" opposite Ryan Reynolds.
3. Ice Cube
Born O'Shea Jackson Sr., Cube is one of the only two African-American actors confirmed to be in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" so far, the other one being Jackson. His character's name is reportedly Darius Stone.
4. Nina Dobrev
Dobrev is known for her role in "The Vampire Diaries" from 2009 to 2015. The Bulgarian actress will play Rebecca in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" after starring in the films "Crash Pad" and "Arrivals."
5. Al Sapienza
Known for playing Huddleston in Gareth Edwards' "Godzilla," Sapienza will play a CIA director in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage." He is of Italian descent.
6. Andrey Ivchenko
Born in Ukraine, Ivchenko is of Russian descent. He will play one of the bad guys the title role will fight with in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," according to Hollywood Reporter.
7. Tony Collette
Collette will play a bureaucrat in the intelligence service in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," sources told Variety. She is Australian.
8. Conor McGregor
McGregor is known for competition in the featherweight and lightweight divisions of the UFC. The prized Irish MMA fighter will make his acting debut in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage."
9. Ruby Rose
Rose is known for her role as Stella Carlin in "Orange is the New Black." She was born Ruby Rose Langenheim in Melbourne, Australia.
