Our favorite Grim Reaper from the recently ended fantasy drama "Goblin" will kick off his Asian fan meeting tour soon!
Lee Dong Wook's agency, King Kong Entertainment, announced Wednesday that the actor will hold an Asian fan meeting tour following the success of "Goblin." Korea Times reported the actor will begin in Korea on March 12, before he flies to other Asian countries in April.
"Lee [Dong Wook] has been extremely busy with photo shoots and commercials after the end of the drama. But he has been preparing for the tour in his spare time to thank his fans all over the world," the label said.
The 35-year-old has been receiving praises for his character in "Goblin." Aside from the Grim Reaper's serious side, Lee Dong Wook's bromance with Gong Yoo was a big factor to the success of the tvN drama series.
Before accepting the Grim Reaper role, Lee Dong Wook admitted he took the time to think about it. However, the actor thought he made the right choice to join "Goblin," according to Soompi.
"I think the most charming part of the grim reaper is that he appears cold when he's working, but he's actually got a warm heart. Personally, I like the warm side of the grim reaper more," the actor said in a V Live interview.
He also revealed that his character in "Goblin" would be his favorite among other roles that he has played in the past. Lee Dong Wook added playing as the Grim Reaper gave him plenty of reasons to remember this project.
Lee Dong Wook is also known for his characters in "My Girl (2005)," "Scent of a Woman (2011)," "Wild Romance (2012)" and "Hotel King (2014)." Meanwhile, details for his upcoming Asian fan meeting tour will be revealed after the Lunar New Year holiday.
