Meanwhile, the Raptors are also on a downward spiral at this time as the team has lost five consecutive games. They remain in the second spot in the East, though, with the Boston Celtics nipping at their heels only a half-game behind.
Toronto was nipped by the Memphis Grizzlies, 101-99, in their most recent match on Wednesday night on the road at the FedExForum, SB Nation reported.
Kyle Lowry led the squad with 29 points, four rebounds, and eight assists while Norman Powell, who is filling-in for the injured DeMar DeRozan, added 21 points, five boards, and two assists. DeMarre Carroll contributed 11 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals also as a starter.
Backup point guard Cory Joseph chipped in 15 points and two rebounds.
DeRozan has missed Toronto's last two games with an ankle injury and is still questionable for this match against Milwaukee.
