After leaving Konami and setting up his new Kojima Productions, he has more freedom now to focus on making good games. He said that people do a lot of things and has no time to choose which type of media to use, which is why he is developing a platform where all types of entertainment converge.
He said that he wants "Death Stranding" to be something people can easily get into, but as they progress through the game, they would notice that they are playing a game like they have never experienced before, Dual Shockers reported. This new approach, which he would like to take for his new game, may cause him to lose fans, but may also bring in new ones, he said.
He wants a future where movies are playable and games let players watch more cinematic content if they want to. But before that future arrives, he will still focus on his latest game, "Death Stranding," which is still in the early stages of its development. The legendary director, however, didn't give more details on the upcoming game, which was recently revealed last year.
