New leaked image of the LG G6 has surfaced showing a different angle of the device. The picture shows that the smartphone has longer SIM slot, which suggests that it has microSD card support.
Recently, a high-resolution image of the LG G6 leaked showing a clear image of the phone. Now, another leaked image of the smartphone has surfaced showing a different angle of the device, Phandroid reported. The new image shows that the smartphone has a long SIM slot on the side, which would mean that its memory could be extended with a microSD.
The previously leaked image and the newer image now shows the same curved corners of the screen, which means it is the same smartphone. Fans are more excited with the upcoming LG G6, which is expected for an official reveal on February 26. Though there are no confirmed reports, it is expected that the new smartphone will sport a 5.7-inch screen display.
The new LG G6 is also rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 821, have a dual camera array on its back, and have fingerprint reader capabilities. It is also expected to be the first non-Google smartphone that has the Google Assistant.
The leaked images reveals the right and left side of the smartphone, but there are no images that reveals LG G6's bottom part, which makes fans speculate that there is something special in that area, GSM Arena reported. It also has a minimalist top and side bezel with noticeable rounded corners and metallic design.
According to reports, LG was trying to go for a design that is closely similar to the iPhone series and Galaxy S series. Now, the new images also reveals that it has a non-removable battery pack. The leaks came from UnderKG, which is a Korean site.
The non-removable battery and the removable SIM tray only shows that the smartphone has a non-modular design. It also has an antenna line, which suggests that it doesn't have a removable back. LG will use heat pipes on the new device to avoid overheating among its components, which makes the non-removable battery possible.
