Lifetime just released a new trailer for their upcoming biopic of Britney Spears last Jan. 25 and fans are already raving about it. However, the popstar didn't approve of its airing.

Based on US Weekly's report, the 35-year-old popstar's rep told them that she doesn't have her blessing and she won't be contributing in any shape or form with regards to the biopic. The network cannot expect her cooperation in this project and it would appear that Spears is not happy about it.

Despite the reaction of the singer to this project, the network is still pushing through with it and has even released a trailer and a poster to hype up the anticipation of her avid fans. Britney Spears' career has marked an era since she released her first hit single, "Hit Me Baby One More Time."

The network is going to feature her life as one of the music industry's most iconic singer. They will cover almost everything from her music, her personal life, which includes her relationship with Justin Timberlake and Kevin Federline, with whom she has two sons. Viewers will get to see what was really the reason of her shaving her head after the paparazzi caught her on a meltdown in one of the streets in Los Angeles. Cinema Blend said that the biopic is called, "Britney Ever After."

Natasha Bassett, who is an actress from Australia will play the role of the popstar's life. She revealed in one of her interviews that getting into character for this job was quite traumatic for her.

Bassett explained that experiencing Spears' life and the things the popstar had to go through is enough to cause her a trauma. The 23-year-old actress found herself showing more empathy to what happened to Spears' life, especially after filming some of the darkest scenes that happened in her time in the music industry. Catch the premiere of "Britney Ever After" on the Lifetime channel, Feb. 18, Saturday.
