Park Bom hasn't been visible to the public eye lately since 2NE1's disbandment, but she seems to be apparently busy preparing for her solo album debut based on her recent tweets.
A fan decided to consult the @OuijaKnowsAll, the official Twitter account of "Ouija: Origin of Evil" movie, on Jan. 27 and inquired on when will Bom acknowledge their existence and tagged her username in the tweet. To the fan's surprise, Bom replied back and greeted them a happy new year, PopCrush reported.
The former 2NE1 member decided it was her turn to ask @OuijaKnowsAll and tweeted about the chances of her solo album coming out this year. The answer from the Ouija board was on the negative side though. Bom's tweet has been deleted but a copy of it is still up in the @OuijaKnowsall account, according to Allkpop.
Immediately, another fan tweeted Bom and asked her if she won't have a solo album coming out this year. The former 2NE1 singer affirmed that yes, a solo album is on the works. While there's no news yet of Bom being signed to another label, it's good news for Blackjacks to know that she's busy in the studio for new material.
Fans showed support for Bom after she confirmed her solo album and assured her that no Ouija board can determine her success. Bom hasn't posted much lately in her social media accounts, but she is active based on her likes and replies from Instagram and Twitter and occasionally responding to fans such as the Ouija board tweet.
While the iconic girl group has already disbanded, 2NE1 members are still making headlines; from Dara's alleged relationship with G-Dragon, CL clarifying the lyrics of their final song "Goodbye," and YG implicating Bom as the main reason for their disbandment. This time, Bom speaks up to give some positive news for her fans on her upcoming solo album. Hopefully, she drops more teasers on what her solo material will sound like in the near future.
