The NBA regular season continues this Monday with the league fielding six games including a road game for the Cavaliers and a home game for the 76ers. LeBron James will look to flex his muscles against the weakened Mavs while 76ers look to improve their record enough for a playoff berth without Embiid.

Cavaliers at Mavericks

It's no secret that the Cleveland Cavaliers are in a mid-season slump right now and it didn't help with recent news of LeBron complaining without getting any additional point guard. But according to Fox Sports, there's no reason to be concerned about the defending champions. They are still in need of a point guard and Kyle Korver is adjusting to a brand new offense after the trade.

They could show their prowess once again when they visit the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. Without Barea and Williams, the team will have their hands full since Irving and Korver could exploit their position to score big. It's also a boost in morale as they continue to show their dominance in the Eastern Conference.

76ers Defends Home without Embiid

Fans of Philadelphia 76ers should hold their breath for a while as the team will face Sacramento at home before four-game road trip without Embiid. According to Sports Illustrated, the rookie sensation is suffering from knee soreness and he's out of commission for two to three weeks.

But even without Embiid, the team is most likely to put on a good game against the visiting Kings. Fortunately for the 76ers, they are full of front court big men who could fill in for the rookie. Jahlil Okafor will finally see some minutes and Nerlens Noel proved that he could be a good center even without the two stars.

Sacramento will visit the 76ers without their second highest scoring player, Rudy Gay. The forward from Maryland ruptured his Achilles tendon and will be sidelined for the rest of the season.
