"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is about to hit the center stage this coming March, another revelation was announced and this time it's about the multiplayer system. Expectations will not be seen in the upcoming title as the BioWare confirms that there will be no plans about the rumored cross-platform multiplayer mode.

According to PC Gamer, the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" game developer BioWare announced via a Twitter post that they have no plans to include a cross-platform multiplayer mode. The "Mass Effect: Andromeda" was recently linked to a rumor about the cross-platform multiplayer that will potentially allow the PC, XB1 and PS4 players to meet in one server.

However, a different kind of multiplayer mode is featured for the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" this year. Ferdinand Melo of BioWare stated that there will be no dedicated servers, but multiplayer mode will be a peer-to-peer basis just like the one that the Mass Effect 3 had.

After Melo posted the announcement about the P2P multiplayer mode, a man named Mike Portman quickly responded. Portman pointed out that having a P2P multiplayer mode will give the hackers an easier chance to exploit the game.

According to the PCGamesN, the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" multiplayer mode will feature similar mechanics to the Mass Effect 3. Using the peer-to-peer also known as the P2P, it will allow the players to join in a co-operative defense game against massive waves of enemies. It will be similar to a tower defense game and the defense game as seen in the Gears of War.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is the much awaited latest installment of the Mass Effect series. Known as the Mass Effect 4, it will feature a new storyline where, but it will be linked to the story from the previous titles.

The game hadn't set its feet in the market, yet the game was already caught to several controversies. The game was criticized due to some of the new contents added in the game, including the issues about the same sex relation throughout the game.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is slated to hit the market this March 21st. The game will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
