G-Dragon, one of YG Entertainment's top artists and member of the Korean boy group Big Bang, has been invited to Chanel haute couture's 2016 Spring fashion show that was held at the Grand Palais in Paris on Jan. 26. He was one of the VIPs in the front row, and his great style was highly praised by fashion professionals.
The singer graced the event wearing a double-breasted navy inspired suit paired with striped shirt. A fur ushanka hat bearing the Chanel logo and brogue shoes complete G-Dragon's outfit.
The singer always amazes fans and fashion leaders with his unique style, and even if his ensemble seems impossible to pull off, the "Bang Bang Bang" singer can carry the style without problem and still looks good.
Moreover, G-Dragon is not a stranger to Chanel's fashion shows. For many seasons now, he has been attending the brand's fashion events because he is one of Karl Lagerfeld's favorite guests. In this show, he sat in front row with big names like Clemence Poesy, Carla Delevingne and Diane Kruger, Telegraph UK reported.
Aside from Chanel, the 27-year-old artist was also often invited to runways of other popular international designers including Lanvin and Saint Laurent.
In South Korea, they call him "fashionista" as he always start a trend with his crazy hair hues and gender-bending outfits. But more than that, he is undeniably one of the biggest Asian artists in the world. Even Kanye West was said to be a fan of his work, and he once recorded a track with Justin Bieber too.
The Big Bang leader, whose real name is Kwon Ji Yong, debuted as a singer in 2006. He and his groupmates - TOP, Taeyang, Seungri and Daesung - got popular in Asia and they eventually took over music charts worldwide.
G-Dragon also composed most of their hits and he was highly praised for this talent. Colleagues and veteran music makers refer to him as music genius for his ability to produce blockbuster songs in a short time.
