The San Antonio Spurs (37-11) will host the Philadelphia 76ers (18-30) at the AT&T Center on Thursday, Feb. 2 as the 2016-2017 NBA regular season moves forward.

Philadelphia has begun to slide again at this time with three losses in their last four games. The team is currently missing the services of big man Joel Embiid with a knee injury as the rookie will still be out in this match against the Spurs.

The Sixers are now third from the last place in the East standings, four-and-a-half games below eighth-seeded team Charlotte Hornets.

Philly is coming off a crushing 113-95 loss to the Dallas Mavericks last Wednesday on the road at the American Airlines Center, as per CBS Local Philadelphia.

Playing without Embiid for the third straight game, the Sixers were led by Jahlil Okafor with 16 points on 7-for-16 field goal shooting in only 24 minutes in a losing effort. Starting power forward Ersan Ilyasova had 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Off the bench, two players scored in double digits with Dario Saric and Gerald Henderson firing 10 points apiece. The two has combined for 10 boards and four assists.

Meanwhile, the Spurs have snapped a two-game losing slide after drubbing the Oklahoma City Thunder, 108-94, also on their home floor of AT&T Center on Tuesday night, NBC Sports reported.

Kawhi Leonard had an excellent game with 36 points on 13-for-26 shooting from the field and 9-for-11 shooting from the charity stripe. He also had eight rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots.

LaMarcus Aldridge backed him up with 25 points, six boards, and three shot blocks as the only other starter in double figures for head coach Gregg Popovich.

San Antonio has won six of their last eight games to remain in the second spot in the West standings, four games behind conference leaders Golden State Warriors.

Prediction 

The Sixers are 6-15 on the road this season while the Spurs are 17-6 at home. San Antonio is expected to pull off another huge home win in this match.
