Eliza Taylor talked about Clarke and Bellamy's relationship in "The 100" Season 4 in a recent interview. She may have subtly confirmed that there is no Bellarke romance happening in the instalment.
Bellarke fans may be in for disappointment at Taylor's recent comment, about her character's romance status in "The 100" Season 4. The actress teased that when the instalment opens, Clarke is still not over Lexa.
Taylor talked about Clarke's relationship with Bellamy (Bob Morley) in an interview with TV Line. She said that Bellarke becomes closer in "The 100" Season 4. Their friendship remains intact and that they are "on the same team again."
However, there may be no future for a Bellarke romance happening in "The 100" Season 4. Taylor confirmed that her character would still be grieving for Lexa. This means Clarke has yet to move on and entertain the iidea of getting into a new relationship.
Likewise, Taylor said that Clarke has a lot on her mind besides romance. Taylor said that Clarke does not really have time for relationships in "The 100" Season 4. This is understandable, given that she is a Skaikru leader and has to find ways to save her people from an incoming nuclear apocalypse.
On the good side, Clarke learns to step up more in "The 100" Season 4. She starts to build self-confidence and really man up to her position as a leader.
"It's really fun to feel like she's asserting herself and not taking s-t from people who don't know as much as she does," Taylor told the publication.
Regardless, there is still hope for Clarke to be in a relationship again in "The 100" Season 4. Series creator Jason Rothenberg previously told Hypable that Clarke finds a new love. However, he did not confirm whether this new relationship is with a girl or a boy.
