Preview

Chicago has remained inconsistent as the team has lost three times in their last five matches. Despite the losses, they have remained in the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference table, three-and-a-half games behind sixth-running team Indiana Pacers and two games ahead of current eighth-seeded squad Detroit Pistons.

The Bulls dropped a sorry 121-117 overtime loss to the Houston Rockets last Friday on the road at the Toyota Center, as per the Chicago Tribune.

In a game when Jimmy Butler was sidelined by a heel bruise, Michael Carter-Williams and Taj Gibson carried some of the offensive load for head coach Fred Hoiberg as they scored 23 and 20 points respectively in a losing effort.

Williams also had nine rebounds and six assists while Gibson added six boards and three assists as both players played more than 35 minutes each. Dwyane Wade contributed 19 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, but the team has come short against James Harden and the Rockets.

Three players scored in double figures coming off the bench, namely Doug McDermott, Paul Zipser, and Nikola Mirotic, who had 12, 11, and 11 points respectively.

Meanwhile, the Kings are coming off a stunning 109-106 victory over the defending West champions Golden State Warriors also on their home floor of Golden 1 Center on Saturday night, CSN Bay Area reported.

DeMarcus Cousins led the squad with an almost triple-double performance of 32 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists with two steals and a shot block. Starting point guard Darren Collison added 18 points, two boards, and three assists while Ben McLemore was the third starter in double digits with 10 points and three steals.

Off the bench, three guys contributed in double figures, namely Willi Cauley-Stein, Anthony Tolliver, and Matt Barnes who had 14, 11, and 11 points in that order.

Prediction

The Bulls are 10-15 on the road while the Kings are 9-14 at home this season. However, riding on their big win against Golden State last Saturday, Sacramento is predicted to win this match.
