Just recently, Shonen Jump magazine celebrated its 20th anniversary and as part of the celebration great were announced. ''One Piece'' manga will present a serialized novel about Ace and why did he leave Mt. Colubo and a lot more. It was reported that the new novel will be written by none other than Ryohgo Narita who created "Durarara!!!, Baccano".
''One Piece" will feature Luffy's brother, Ace who left Mt. Colubo. Other highlights include the organization of the Space Pirate and early meet up with Jinbe that lead to his appointment as being a Whitebeard Pirates commander, Crunchyroll reported.
The publication revealed that the new story will mainly focus on Ace. Shonen Jump magazine also verified that a kabuki play will pave way for its comeback as formerly reported. Little details make fans speculate and become more excited to see Ace once more in "One Piece".
According to Comic Book, Portgas D. Ace or simply Ace is also named as 'Fire Fist' and Luffy's older brother. He was an adopted brother to Luffy and helped in raising him along with a much younger kid with blonde hair named Sabo. Ace became the commander of the second division of Whitebeard Pirates and Luffy's absolute role model in the seas in "One Piece".
Ace got a death sentence and was pursued by the World Government because he was the son of the late Pirate King. Luffy cannot accept his brother's fate and intruded leading to the Battle of Marineford. Younger Luffy was able to help Ace avoid custody. Unfortunately, Ace still died saving Luffy from a marine known as Akainu in "One Piece".
More action is coming as "Durarara!!!, Baccano" author, Ryohgo Narita is apparently all settled to write the novel. Be it in manga or anime, Ace is considered a chief member in "One Piece" who helped in Eiichiro Oda's impetus for Luffy's training.
