Hirani is amongst the top most directors of Bollywood today. All of his movies have strike gold at the box office, be it his directorial debut "Munnabhai MBBS" or his recent drama feature film "PK." All of the films have done exceptionally well, as his movies border on the serious note, where he highlights grim issues in a comical way; however, Hirani says that he is now watching his words more than he did previously.
In interview with The Hindu, Hirani said that he has become more careful about what he speaks in public, lest it gets misinterpreted and misquoted.
