Marvel is relaunching their famous X-Men comic series naming them X-Men Gold and X-Men Blue this time. The new editions will be under the supervision of TV's Arrow and Legend of Tomorrow's co-creator, Marc Guggenheim.

The new X-Men flagship series is a part of the ResurreXion event of Marvel starring some of the classic characters of the original comic book series like Storm, Nightcrawler and Colossus just to name a few. Kitty Pryde was said to be the leader for X-Men Gold.

The story will be about the Merry Mutants being in war with the Inhumans according to Comic Book. Arrow's Guggenheim will be taking the lead on the storyline and character development of this new comic book series. For the uninformed, he is not only a TV showrunner, but he actually is a professional comic book creator that he has been doing it for years.

Newsarama interviewed the Legend of Tomorrow's co-creator and he revealed that Adrian Syaf will be the one drawing the artwork for this comic book series. Fans will notice a little bit of the classic X-Men look while still showcasing action and drama in the story. This the kind of style that Syaf is known for.

Jean Grey and Wolverine are also going to be a part of the story but not as the good mutants this time because they will play as the series' villain. Basically, it will go back to when a brotherhood of evil mutants was a thing.

Guggenheim said that they will have Pyro and Avalanche resurrected from the dead. Hardcore fans of X-Men are aware that those two died in the first edition of the story but because of editors Daniel Ketchum and Guggenheim's love for these characters, they decided to incarnate them.
