A recent report from The Siver Times suggested that the ex-couple, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are avoiding each other during the farewell party of "The Vampire Diaries." The ex-couple are working together for the season 8, which is the finale for TVD.
The publication insisted that there is definitely some tension between Somerhalder and Dobrev. The ex-couple was present at the farewell party, but Somerhalder reportedly left the event quickly. Apparently, this gesture raised questions form the fans if it was really true that he was avoiding Dobrev.
An insider who was present at the event said he arrived with Nikki Reed and attended the party together. The observer even added that Somerhalder was not feeling well, which prompted him to stay for only a few minutes.
On the other hand, a report from Mirror.co.uk stated that the feud rumors between Somerhalder, Reed and Dobrev can now be put to rest, as the trio recently enjoyed dinner together. The three celebrities even captured a photo together and shared it on social media.
“They finally were able to get together for their first real dinner," Somerhalder stated in his caption. "Let us stop spreading hate everyone, there is already too much of that right now in our world. Join in on the love. Only love here- always has been always will be."
Somerhalder then continued, “Let us finish this series with respect and kindness and continue that in our lives. I think it is time. What do think?”
