Kapil Sharma parted ways with Colors after he decided to move on and exit from "Comedy Nights with Kapil." The Bollywood industry has reacted on the alleged issues between Colors and Kapil. "Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive" star Manish Paul talked about the comedian and the exit.
In an interview with Bollywood Life, Manish said that it is completely between Kapil and channel and he is not aware what happened between them. He added that people are saying bad as well as the good things about the entire episode. However, Manish felt that it is the "channel's call" and they are just artistes.
"At the end of the day we are at the mercy of the channel's call. If the channel calls, we work, if not, then we miss one season. At the end of the day, channel 'baap' hai, we listen to them. We listen to the directors and producers. I work like that. If they have changed the face of the show, then it might be to bring some newness to the show and if it works, it will work. If it doesn't, then they will also move on. I don't think there was any bad blood between them like we want to remove Kapil and make another guy stand in his place. It's not like that. It's their own channel and I guess Kapil was getting busy somewhere else, so Kapil said 'thank you' and the channel said 'no problem," Manish said during the interview.
After "Comedy Nights with Kapil" ended, a new show called "Comedy Nights Live" started. Krushna Abhishek was called in for the performing the host duties. After the premiere episode, Krushna was criticized for his performance. The website asked Manish if Krushna should be given time to adjust and settle in the new setup.
"Absolutely. Yes, it was one area of Kapil's expertise and he has gained a lot of popularity from this show and he has given us some fabulous episodes, but life is all about moving on," Manish stated.
