Capcom has just announced the upcoming "Street Fighter V" DLC and its new character. A new trailer was released as well introducing Kolin, a new female character that will join the cast this end of February.
A report from GameSpot confirms Capcom has just revealed the new character included in the upcoming "Street Fighter V" DLC. Kolin will be added on the DLC this February 28th, as Capcom introduced her via video trailer featuring the soundtrack entitled the It's Not Design from Lupe Fiasco.
Kolin is a familiar face to the "Street Fighter V," since she already made her first appearance in Street Fighter III. She was added to dive in the story line to stop to fulfill the Prophecy of Miraha, which is to stop anyone who stands in Gill's way.
With the power of ice, Kolin can destroy anyone she faces. A lethal icicle attacks powered by frozen blasts, those skills would definitely make her a dangerous opponent. Aside from from ice skills, Kolin also used the Russian martial arts called Systema, where she uses her enemy's power against them.
According to the IGN, Kolin was first teased via Twitter, as fans speculated that her name would be Helen. An image was released with a silhouette imagery with a background that looks to be a frozen wall.
Kolin will also appear in the "Street Fighter V" Season 2 Character pass that can be purchased for $30. The "Street Fighter V" Season 2 pass also offers Akuma along with some 4 upcoming new characters in the roster. So far, there are 6 confirmed "Street Fighter V" DLC characters in total.
Kolin is said to be available at the Droga's Light launch party to be held in San Francisco this coming February 15th. Her official appearance will be on the 28th of February along with the new "Street Fighter V" DLC.
Furthermore, Capcom confirmed that they will continue adding new contents along with some new characters in the future. Capcom said that they make sure that the game will be balanced as much as possible and even teased that they will be announcing more this coming March.
