Recent news and update for the mobile industry centers on the Huawei Mate 9. Rumors have surfaced Huawei's flagship device lacks the refinement for the iPhone 7 Plus and Google Pixel X.
With its 5.9-inch display, the Huawei Mate 9 is clearly aimed at large-screen smartphone fans and likely wooing users of the ill-fated Samsung Galaxy Note 7 looking for a replacement that doesn't turn into a fireball, Bit reported.
Users of the previous Mate 8 will no doubt be wondering what has changed. In fact, the Mate 9 looks extremely similar to Mate 8 to the point where it asks if this is no more than a minor upgrade, while on the right are power and volume keys, with a USB-C port at the base with one of the dual speakers, as noted by the same post.

Other specs and features of the Huawei Mate 9 are also unveiled. For one, the headphone jack and infrared port are both located at the top edge of the chassis. The Mate 9 Has an absolutely humungous screen. With a footprint, similar in size to the iPhone 7plus it is still able to sport a 5.9″ screen, but much attributed to the small bezels and use of on-screen buttons, according to Aivanet.

This massive screen is covered by an equally massive piece of 2.5D Gorilla Glass and the slight bevel is nothing compared to the what Samsung has done with their Edge displays but it adds a little class to the monster phone. For the mobile enthusiasts, everything remains unsettled and unverified until the device hits the stalls.
