The "Halo" series is not just famous for its amazing game but also for its cool soundtrack. Microsoft is proud to announce that a new soundtrack for Halo Wars 2 is bound to knock every gamer's socks off, as they release it on Feb. 17, Friday.
Game Spot said that even though the original music producers and songwriters of the Halo music franchise are no longer the ones behind this project, fans could still expect a plethora of great music on "Halo Wars 2". All 21 tracks of the soundtrack were leaked on Soundcloud today and it has already gained a lot of hits.
The production and composition of the music for this project were done by Gordy Haab along with a group called Finishing Move. The latter is a team created by Brian Lee White and Brian Trifon. Meanwhile, Haab is known for composing music for games like "Star Wars: Battlefront" and "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic". Listen to the soundtrack below:
Neowin also got a hold of this news posting the price for the said soundtrack, which is $17.99. Fans could already pre-order it in stores like Best Buy earlier than its online release date that is on Feb. 21, Tuesday.
The game itself, "Halo Wars 2" is also going to be available on Feb. 21. However, those who purchased the Ultimate Edition that is worth $80 or the XBox One S bundle that is worth $350 could already enjoy playing it on Feb. 17. These are just among the many advantages of pre-ordering this game and its soundtrack.
Moreover, gamers would be slightly disappointed that the physical PC edition for "Halo Wars 2" is not happening since its developers canceled its release in America. 343 Industries, the company behind this project has not made any comments or updates as to why they canceled the release.
