SEVENTEEN's fan club is celebrating its 1st anniversary! The group also wrapped up their fan meeting series in Korea.
In February 2016, the group officially announced their fans club name would be "CARAT." At this time, it has been a year since SEVENTEEN made the announcement in one of their concerts.
And to celebrate, the group had tweeted photos featuring all thirteen members as a gift to their fans on their anniversary. The photos was captioned "Happy CARAT Day!" and included a hashtag "CARAT is love," Soompi reported.
Also, the group recently wrapped up their official fan meeting series in Korea with a total of 20,000 fans last Feb. 10-12 at the Jamshil Gymnasium in Seoul. It is worth noting that SEVENTEEN officially kicked off their fan meeting series with "Seventeen in Carat Land."
The group started out their fan meeting with introductory videos and performed songs such as "Boom Boom," "Highlight," and "First Pace." They also had a full group greeting as well as unit greetings and a Q&A session with their fans, Allkpop reported.
Dino also had his special performance playing his graduation song "O." In addition, the hip hop unit sang the vocal teams "Don't Listen," the vocal unit performed the performance unit's "Jam Jam," and the performance unit performed the hip hop unit's "Lean On Me."
Previously, we can recall that the group made their official comeback last December 2016 with "BOOMBOOM." The song is the official title track of their mini comeback album titled "Going Seventeen."
In 2015, SEVENTEEN was formed by Pledis Entertainment composing of thirteen members which is divided into three different sub-units: a hip hop unit, vocal unit, and performance unit. With the group's deep involvement in their song compositions and production, the group was since called the "self-producing" idol group.
