ASTRO is stunning in white for their upcoming winter-themed special album. The group was formed by Fantagio in 2015.
On Feb. 14 at midnight KST, the group released its teaser images for their upcoming album "Winter Dream." The photos feature the members dressed up in white, snowy outfits, which is suited for their theme.
The upcoming album's title track will be called "I Should Have Held On to You" based on the group's twitter account. It also rounds out the group's season-themed releases, including their debut album "Spring Up" and mini albums "Summer Vibes" and "Autumn Story," Soompi reported.
Although the group will not hold any music promotions this time for their upcoming album, they will be performing tracks from this album at various fan meets and showcases. The album is set for release on Feb. 22, a day before their first anniversary.
The rookie band debuted through the web drama "To Be Continued," where their label revealed the members' individual profile images. Jinjin was the first one to be introduced followed by Cha Eun Woo, Moonbin, MJ, Rocky, and Yoon Sang Ha, Allkpop reported.
The members started out as trainees under Fantagio iTeen, a rookie talent development program under Fantagio Entertainment and were known as iTeen Boys. In August 2015, Fantagio then releases new information about their new group through social media.
After their debut in the web drama series, ASTRO then starred in their own reality show "Astro OK! Ready" which was aired on MBC Every1 at 7PM KST. And in preparation for their official debut, the group held a nationwide showcase tour called "Meet U Project," in which they toured all over South Korea and held twenty two shows and two fan meetings.
In February 2016, the group officially debuted with their song "Hide & Seek" which is included in their debut album "Spring Up." Following their debut, ASTRO also announced their official fanclub name, "AROHA," which is an abbreviation for "ASTRO Hearts All Fans."
