Following the success of "Hwarang," Park Hyung Sik recalled his experience while filming his first historical drama. In fact, the singer-actor shared what they had to go through during the production of the series.
In a lengthy statement released after the drama's finale on Tuesday, Park Hyung Sik narrated they endured the summer heat to deliver quality project. Despite inevitable complexities, the singer-actor said the whole experience in "Hwarang" was memorable for him.
"I smile when I think of that summer because it is filled with very good memories for me. I feel that I was very lucky to have met the people that I did through this drama," he said as per Soompi.
The 25-year-old star added he tried to give his best in playing as Sam Maek Jong/Kim Ji Dwi; however, Park Hyung Sik admitted he regretted not giving his all in "Hwarang."
After failing to show everything in the KBS2 drama, the singer-actor promised to do even better in his upcoming projects. Park Hyung Sik also assured his fans that he will return as a "better and more powerful actor."
On Feb. 24, Park Hyung Sik's newest drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" will start airing on JTBC. According to Allkpop, the singer-actor will share the small screen with Park Bo Young and Ji Soo in the romcom series.
Previews and still cuts of the upcoming drama showed Park Hyung Sik's bromance with Ji Soo. Similarly, the production asked fans to watch out for their hilarious combo in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon."
For the romcom series, Park Hyung Sik will play the role of An Min Hyuk, head of a gaming company. Watch "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" every Friday and Saturday at 10:30 p.m. starting Feb. 24.
