Drake made a quick birthday greeting for Rihanna during his performance in Dublin on Feb. 20, Monday. It was the songstress' 29th birthday and Drake's message to her made her day even more special.
According to E! Online, Drake, who is best known for his songs like "Hotline Bling" and "Work," sent an endearing and heartfelt message to fellow-artist, Rihanna. The two were said to have dated before but decided to call it quits not too long ago.
It would appear that the two parted amicably since Drake was still able to tell the crowd how he feels about Rihanna. The crowd got all excited when he started saying that it was somebody's birthday that day and it is someone who he has a lot of love for and a lot of respect for as well.
People Magazine also reported this shout out that Drake made and that instead of singing the traditional "Happy Birthday," he performed the song "Work." It is a track that he collaborated with Rihanna, which also gathered a million hits and sales.
There are no reports of the two getting back together, especially when Drake has been seeing hanging out and cuddling with Jennifer Lopez. But when it comes to Drake and his women, he always cares about them and shows them respect even after a public breakup.
He is also known for doing really big things for the woman involved with him. Rihanna is perhaps among those women who he showed and gave a lot of huge things like buying her a billboard last year before the VMA's and even told the public how he loves her while presenting her the award.
Drake said Rihanna is someone he has been in love with since he was 22 years old. Fans could only hope that at this point they go back together as a couple.
