Fans of "The Walking Dead" should hold their breath for this shocking possible ending that the show is about to face. A theory that is surfacing online since Feb. 22 is about to drop everybody's jaw twice.
In an article published by Cinema Blend, a YouTuber that goes by the username MOVIEidol posted his theory about the ending of this hit AMC show. He said that there is a huge possibility that the comic book series and the TV show could be a flashback story according to Carl Grimes (Chandler RIggs).
Basically, everything that fans are watching now are nothing but memories of Rick Grimes as told by his son. A proof that this could actually be the ending is whenever there is a story about Carl, the said scene is more detailed than the others. Another thing is Robert Kirkman's emphasis on how he is into the whole story about Carl.
Carl Grimes is the eldest son of Rick and it only makes sense that he is the one telling the story because he was there before the zombies came to the picture. He also saw everything that took place during the zombie apocalypse and growing up in this kind of environment made him develop his own moral sense. He learned what it is like to live with death and undead people on a regular basis, which would then take an interesting turn when he tells the story in the future.
According to Romper, the comic books series is still releasing new materials and it is now on its 160th issue. Most of the time, the TV series goes in line with the story in the comic book. Eventually, the character of Rick Grimes would suffer a demise in the comic book but there is no confirmation if it is going to be the same on TV.
