Blizzard Entertainment denied the then-incoming appearance of the new "Overwatch" hero named Doomfist. Today, the latest buzz is that Doomfist is about to drop its feet in the "Overwatch" battleground.
Recently, "Overwatch" posted a series of Twitter message involving the airport attack. Though the message seemed to be a hint, several fans went crazy as an image of Doomfist was seen in the recent in-game video footage as per the UK Express reported.
The "Overwatch" Twitter said that the OR15 units have been destroyed in a battle with several unknown attackers at Numbani Airport. The video released was an in-game footage as the player fights several enemies coming in from nowhere.
During the course of the play in the video, a character was seen stuck on a wall which is speculated that it could have been Doomfist. The guy seen on the wall is wearing a gauntlet that hinted that it must be the new "Overwatch" hero, Doomfist.
Even with this video and some of the Twitter message from the "Overwatch" account, Doomfist is still hanging. Fans should still need to wait for the official announcement from Blizzard.
On the other hand, Blizzard has just announced the arriving new character Efi Oladele in the next "Overwatch" hero update. Efi Oladele was introduced last week along with a fictional interview with the new hero as per the PlayStatuion LifeStyle said.
During the said interview, Efi mentioned that her dream is to create a weapon that can protect every human being along with any other living species in the "Overwatch" universe. With this, she was speculated not the real new character wherein she will be creating a new hero for the game.
Efi Oladele is an 11-year old science genius, a smart girl that won the grand prize in the Adawa Foundation. She also mentioned that she will be using her money to buy some equipment and other resources in order to create a new weapon.
However, some players said that if Efi Oladele is the character that Blizzard is talking about, she might be a support class. With her skills, she is speculated to deploy some healing and buffing machine for her team.
