Game director Neil Druckmann finally reveals some details of the upcoming "The Last of Us 2" that fans have been wanting to. Naughty Dog is confirmed to be in production and currently developing the game as the game director said.
Neil Druckmann was caught up in an interview last week with the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth as per the Video Games Republic report. The creative and game director Neil Druckmann said that the next "The Last of Us 2" will be focusing on the hate concept. This marks an opposite direction from the first installment, which is known to be about love and affection.
Additionally, Druckmann said that the "The Last of Us 2" will also focus on the cycle of violence and hatred, stating that the next sequel would not end up the way the fans expect. We may recall the ending part of the first title as a happy-ending one, but it may seem that Ellie would feel bad about Joel, as the man lied about the killings of their allies back then.
Druckmann and his Naughty Dog crew is known to mislead their fans as they released the "The Last of Us" trailer with a very opposite direction of the actual game. With his history, the game director open up and admit that they intentionally mislead the fans to make the game more inviting during the course of the game.
As part of this, as per the Games Radar said, Neil Druckmann might not literally wrote a happy ending for the next sequel as he revealed some of the details, but several fans might now expect that the game would have a tragic ending. Fans seemed to be starting to speculate of how the "The Last of Us 2" will end.
With no further information and other confirmed revelation, "The Last of Us 2" is now displaying a bag of interest as the team behind the game is just teasing the fans with just few information. Everything will be told once the sequel of the award-winning game is released as it is expected to hit the market next year.
