China is going gaga over a Chinese gym goer, who has earned the title of "Chinese Kim Kardashian," after she managed to get a coveted curvy body and tiny waist following three years of intensive workout.
Identified as Lin Shishi, the fitness freak has continually posted photos and videos since 2012 in what she describes as a body transformation challenge. Her posts on social media site Weibo have attracted hundreds to thousands of comments, with many praising her hourglass-like figure. She also has over 113,000 media followers.
Lin claims to be the executive director of foreign trade firm Jing Feng and is a native of Guangdong Province's Foshan City. Based on her earlier posts, she is into traveling, driving, dining, and shopping.
Lin name gained attention after local media reports made her a trending topic on the social networking site.
"In the past three years, I have managed to turn my H-shaped figure to an X-shaped figure, and the outline of my buttocks from that of a frying pan to that of a frying wok," she captioned in one of her posts.
"My shoulder width grew from 15 inches to 20 inches," she wrote. "I have only just started, the training in the future will be even more challenging."
Lin has attracted praises and admirations on social media.
"What beautiful curves! It's rare for a Chinese woman to have curves like these," one user commented on her Weibo account.
Lin is being compared with the famous American reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
"Her ample bust and curvaceous bottom have made her the 'Kim Kardashian of China,'" a reporter from Huanqiu.com wrote.
