Another actor is guest starring on "Supergirl" season 2. iZombie's Rahul Kohli has been tapped to play a potential villain in an upcoming episode of the hit superhero series.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Kohli is guest starring in episode 18 of "Supergirl" Season 2 as the charismatic tech genius, Jack Spheer. With an airdate yet to be determined, viewers will learn in the episode that Spheer has spent decades working on a medical innovation that will eradicate major illnesses and change the face of the world -- under the condition that it will work.
As to how he will enter Kara's orbit, the site reveals that Jack will come to National City to make a demonstration of his technology to the press which will include Kara and Snapper Carr. His presence lands him on the front page news while also stirring up feelings with Lena Luthor, whom he shared a romantic past.
"I'm so excited to be working on Supergirl starring as Jack Spheer," Kohli told the publication.
"It's given me the chance to continue my relationship with The CW as well as fulfill my goal of meeting a Kryptonian."
In the DC comics lore, Spheer is known for his alter-ego Biomax, who has the power to control people's minds.
Kohli joins previously announced Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo who are also set to take on villainous roles on "Supergirl" Season 2.
Starring Melissa Benoist, the series continues on March 6th with an all new episode. Titled "Exodus," the upcoming hour will find Kara agreeing to set up an interview between Snapper and Supergirl in an effort to stop Cadmus. Elsewhere, viewers will find Alex searching for Jeremiah while Kara investigates a series of alien kidnappings.

"Supergirl" also stars Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Jeremy Jordan, and Mehcad Brooks. It airs every Monday at 8PM on the CW.
