Sulli and Choiza's respective agencies have finally spoken up following reports of the artists' breakup.
SM Entertainment was the first to confirm that Sulli and Choiza have called it quits after dating for two years and seven months. Despite their decision to go on separate ways, the label emphasized that the two idols intend to stay friends.
Shortly after Sulli confirmed her breakup through SM Entertainment, Choiza's label also released a formal statement regarding the matter. According to Soompi, Amoeba Culture is only airing their side due to "a lot of interest and concern."
"[Choiza and Sulli], due to their busy schedules and different ways of life, naturally grew apart," the label said, adding that the ex-couple will continue their good relationship as sunbae and hoobae.
"The two artists have a lot of talent and potential. Please keep an eye out for their future promotions with warm interest and encouragement," Amoeba Culture concluded the dispatch.
Meanwhile, the former f(x) member received an outpouring support from her fans who offered their comforting words through social media. Korea Herald cited Sulli's Instagram account was flooded with netizens who wish to console the idol on her breakup with Choiza.
"Unni [Sister], please don't lose faith. Time will heal all. Try to focus on the bright side," a fan posted. Another one wrote, "You deserve better, unni [sister]. Take care, stay strong."
Most of them assured Sulli that they will back her up no matter what happens. It can be remembered that the former f(x) member has been controversial in the past few months because of her SNS posts.
Some netizens see her photos as disturbing, while Sulli's fans thought the idol was just being real.
Sulli made her relationship with Choiza public in August 2014. The celebrity couple were previously mired in breakup rumors. But this time, it appears that the two idols have decided to end their romance for real.
