South Korean TV network MBC has finally confirmed the much-awaited team up of South Korean stars Kim Young Kwang and Lee Si Young in the upcoming thriller drama series titled “Prosecutor”.
The broadcasting company revealed in a press conference on March 8 that the actors will be portraying the lead characters for their new Monday-Tuesday drama offering. According to All KPop, Lee will play the role of an ex-homicide detective named Jo Soo Ji while Kim takes the part of Jang Do Han, a wicked prosecutor who seeks revenge to the people who have mistreated him in the past.
“Prosecutor” will be directed by “Shine or Go Crazy” director PD Son Hyung Suk and written by Kim Soo Eun. The show is set to premier on May this year.
Meanwhile, Lee was recently featured in the latest issue of fashion and lifestyle magazine “Marie Claire” Korea. During the interview, the 34-year-old actress and amateur boxer revealed her beauty secrets and shared how she keeps on track to achieve her goals in life.
"I run every morning. This is how I cope with loving myself as well as maintaining a healthy heart and body… I am also happy when I get to rest the next day after working out. It is truly breathtaking to see the sunrise while running,” Lee told the magazine as quoted by All KPop.
She added: "Although there are times when I have to step out of my boundary while acting, I always remind myself to keep a positive view on things and just keep pressing forth towards my goal."
Lee made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2008 after her guest appearance in “Urban Legends Deja Vu”. Kim, on the other hand, is known for his portrayals in “Runway Com”, “Pinocchio”, and “Sweet Stranger and Me”.
