Heechul and Uhm Hyun Kyung had a hilarious recollection of their kiss scene in "Rainbow Romance," where they both appeared as rookies who were obviously nervous to do such an intimate act for a sitcom.
In fact, the actress candidly shared on "Happy Together" that the Super Junior member did a terrible job during the filming the kiss scene.
"You said you kissed me on the chin and cupid's bow on purpose, but I don't think that's what it was. I think he didn't do it well," Uhm Hyn Kyung said of Heechul as per Koreaboo.
The idol, on the other hand, was surprised upon hearing the statement and started defending himself. However, Heechul admitted that he was then nervous of filming a kiss scene, considering that he is still new in the industry.
"I looked at Hyun Kyung and then I looked at the director and started thinking, "Man, do I have to use my tongue in this or what?"" he added.
Meanwhile, Uhm Hyun Kyung continued to share what happened while filming the kiss scene which proved that Heechul was inexperienced at that time. "He closed his eyes too early before approaching my face," she narrated.
The actress went on, "So he couldn't find my lips, and it just looked like he was trying to kiss me by his other senses. At the time, I felt frustrated because we could have done it in one go, but it kept ending in a blooper."
In the same "Happy Together" episode, the Super Junior member also shared the reason behind his gay rumors. Allkpop cited Heechul's close relationship with girl group members could be the reason why people are questioning his preference.
The idol admitted a lot of girl group members feel comfortable hanging out with him. In return, Heechul would usually give them advice as a senior or would go on trips with them.
