Apink's Eunji assured fans that she is doing well after she was rushed to the hospital for a minor back injury before their weekend shows.
According to Allkpop, the idol hurt her back while rehearsing for Apink's performance at the "K-Plus Concert in Hanoi" scheduled Mar. 25 and 26. "She hurt her back while preparing the performances," her label explained.
It continued, "She had a bad back and she hurt it again, so we rushed her to the hospital. After emergency measures and a lot of rest, she recovered. It's not so serious that she needs to go to a specialist."
Following the incident, Eunji took to her Instagram account to update her fans on her current condition. The Apink member also apologized for causing them to worry for her.
"I'm resting well and being well cared for by lots of people, so don't worry about me. I'm going to get better soon. Thank you," she wrote.
However, fans could not help but worry about their idol considering that her back pain is said to be a recurring problem. Some of them have called out Apink's label to let the artist undergo medication to have her back pain treated.
Others are even more worried now that Eunji has been confirmed to take part on "Law of the Jungle." Soompi recently confirmed the Apink member will fly to New Zealand for the SBS program.
Although nothing has been decided on her filming schedule with "Law of the Jungle," an insider shared they will confirm Eunji's flight date by the end of this month.
If things go well with Eunji's health, she will become the second Apink member to appear on "Law of the Jungle" following Hayoung's participation in the Papua New Guinea episodes of the reality show.
"Law of the Jungle" in New Zealand will start airing on May 19 after the Sumatra episodes.
