South Korean boy group BTOB have shared their closeness with Highlight (former B2ST) in their recent interview with Sports Seoul.
Band members Sungjae, Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, Ilhoon, and Sungjae individually talked about their thoughts and experiences with their former label mates. In fact, the boys also shared that they have always been supporting the other group.
According to Sungjae as quoted by All KPop: “We're really close. I always feel like they're my online friends. When I meet them, it's a bit awkward, but when we put our headsets on [to game], we're really close.”
"They're hyungs. They're like actual older brothers to us. Our personalities match well, too. They feel like the hyungs next door. I play a lot of games with Doojoon-hyung," added Changsub.
On the other hand, Minhyuk shared a funny experience with Highlight saying, "By coincidence, I met all of them in the elevator. They joked, 'What are you doing here? Are you here as a spy?", and Doojoon-hyung said, 'Now we're enemies'. We're so close, so we joke around like this. We're always supporting them."
Meanwhile, BTOB has recently collaborated with fashion and lifestyle magazine Ceci Korea for its latest issue, reports All KPop. In the teaser video released by the publication on its Instagram page, the group members have shown off their cool classic looks in a barbershop-themed photo shoot.
BTOB was introduced in the entertainment scene in 2012 under the management of label agency Cube Entertainment. On their first public appearance as a group, the band performed their singles including "Insane" and "Imagine" at an event in Seoul. It was followed by various guesting at TV shows such as ”M! Countdown”, ”Music Bank”, and ”Music Core”.
