Kim Min Suk is undeniably the best samchon (uncle) in the recently ended drama "Defendant." But his love for young actress Shin Rin Ah goes beyond the set of the SBS series.
In fact, the two were spotted enjoying the night life in Okinawa after the Ji Sung-starrer successfully wrapped up on March 21. Kim Min Suk personally shared his whereabouts with Shin Rin Ah on Instagram.
In one of Kim Min Suk's updates, the young actress was captured playing a claw crane at a local game store. The actor, on the other hand, shared he and Shin Rin Ah spent a day at the beach where they walked along the shore hand-in-hand.
"[Shin] Rin Ah told me, "Uncle, you will forget me when I become a high school student and college student later on." I'm not usually emotionally affected, but I felt weird," Kim Min Suk said as per Soompi.
The 27-year-old actor said he admires Shin Rin Ah for her sincerity and obedience considering her young age. Not only that, Kim Min Suk added working with the young lady has been memorable because she was his first actress partner.
The "Descendants of the Sun" actor also said he would like to see Shin Rin Ah grow up well. "I told her, "You're going to forget about [me] after your next, next project," and she said that she won't because she has a photo of us playing in Okinawa together," Kim Min Suk shared.
He admitted that feels emotional whenever Shin Rin Ah tells him these things. Kim Min Suk also revealed he is now close to Shin Rin Ah's mother, who would sometimes ask him to look after the young actress.
Kim Min Suk said Shin Rin Ah's mother is like an older sister to him. "We became comfortable with each other by maintaining a sister-brother relationship," he added.
