George R.R. Martin's upcoming sixth book installment to be entitled "Winds of Winter" has been highly anticipated by the fans of the book series to which it belongs to, "A Song of Ice and Fire." "Winds of Winter" by George R.R. Martin has been highly anticipated already by the fans of the book series. However, it is extremely unfortunate for the fans of the book series to know that the release of the upcoming book is going to be delayed even more. According to Daily Telegraph, Martin just recently launched the Stagecoach Foundation which was founded in dedication to bringing more film and television production in his own hometown. This building was donated to Martin and located in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Aside from the launch of his recent foundation, he is also currently in talks with HBO in another possible work, but Martin said that he cannot talk about it yet. Nevertheless, the fans are speculating of another TV show to be shown on HBO, similar to the adaptation of his books on the series "Game of Thrones." There is also the production of a superhero TV series entitled "Wild Cards" to which Martin is not in connection with due to his exclusive contract with HBO. The series is currently being produced by Universal Cable Productions, another adaptation of his writing.
However, in spite of his extremely busy schedule and many commitments, Martin assures the fans that "Winds of Winter" will always be on his list of things to accomplish, Live Journal reported. This is to give the fans much time needed to prepare for the book launch. He has assured them also that he has not forgotten about completing the series at all.
Thus, George R. R. Martin has confirmed that he will first announce the release date before releasing the "Winds of Winter" book entirely.
